IA companies have extended rights: up to 8 calendar days per instance and 24 days total per 12 months.
There must be at least 16 working days between two self-certification periods.
Self-certification rules
Standard company
- —Employee must have worked at least 2 months
- —Max 3 calendar days per instance
- —Max 4 periods per 12 months
- —At least 16 working days between periods
- —Applies to full calendar days (incl. weekends)
IA company
- —Employee must have worked at least 2 months
- —Max 8 calendar days per instance
- —Max 24 self-certification days per 12 months
- —At least 16 working days between periods
- —Employer can require medical certificate after 8 days
