How overtime works in practice
Employees get their normal hourly rate for all hours — including overtime hours. The overtime supplement is only the extra percentage on top. If an employee earns 205 kr/hour and works 3 overtime hours at 40%, you pay 205 × 3 = 615 kr normal pay + 82 × 3 = 246 kr supplement. The supplement (82 kr/hour) is what you report as a separate pay type.
Overtime is triggered by: (1) more than agreed working hours per week, or (2) more than 9 hours in 24 hours.
